CR Phantom is used to check the relevant parameters of CR Scanner including, spatial resolution, unsharpness, contrast, MTF, laser beam jitter, scanner slipping and shading. These tests are detailed in ASTM E 2445-14, ISO 16371-1 and EN 14784-1 and should be performed periodically. Carestream's sensor plate – KOWOTEST CR Phantom meets and exceeds the required criteria by using two different IQI Duplex wires. The measurement points for the shadow correction mode are arranged in two horizontal and vertical axes. All the necessary information can be captured with a single shot and there is no need to rotate or change the angle to create a sub-axis snapshot. Therefore, the test results will be significantly more stable and accurate as well as save time for customers.
